Web Developer

 

Job description:

We are looking for a Web developer who is self-motivated, adaptable and willing to learn. If you have a strong bias for action, and a take charge attitude. If you are results-oriented, with a creative approach to problem solving. Please apply right now!

 

In this job, you will:

● Participate in business needs and process analysis. Assist in the collection of business information reporting requirements and provides needed information

● Translate clients' specifications and designs into technical specifications

● Design web architecture with our CTO

● Ensure quality, security, maintainability, performance, responsiveness, and scalability of all web-based ecosystems

● Develop responsive web design for use across platforms : you will be responsible for writing new code and supporting/maintaining existing code (new functions, debug & troubleshoot, performance or security rewrite). This will include unit testing and end to end testing

● Document your code

● Maintain current knowledge of Web technology and issues 

Basic qualifications:

● BAC+5 in computer science or equivalent experience

● Speak algorithmics fluently

● Solid written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

● Knowledge / expertise in the following technologies :

          Frontend:  HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap, Foundation, Angular JS

          Backend:  Django, Zend, Symphony 2, PHP, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS

● REST APIs integration experience (such as Google APIs or Facebook APIs)

●Knowledge / expertise of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL) such as MySQL and/or MangoDB

● Knowledge / practice of agile or waterfall development cycles

● Design app architecture with our CTO and backend team

● Ensure quality, security, maintainability, performance, responsiveness, and scalability of all web-based ecosystems

● Develop mobile applications for use across platforms: you will be responsible for writing new code and supporting/maintaining existing code (new functions, debug & troubleshoot, performance or security rewrite). This will include unit testing and end to end testing

● Document your code

● Maintain current knowledge of Mobile and Web technologies and issues 

Basic qualifications:

● BAC+5 in computer science or equivalent experience

● Speak algorithmics fluently

● Solid written and verbal communication skills

● Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming

 

Preferred qualifications:

● Knowledge / expertise in the following technologies:

          Java and/or C++

          Native Android SDK and/or IOS development (language, IDE, mobile constraints such as low memory, battery and network resources)

          HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap, Foundation, Angular JS

          Cordova, Titanium or Phonegap    

● Solid understanding of interfacing to back-end systems using XML/JSON, REST(such as internal backend API, Google APIs or Facebook APIs), OAUTH, etc.

● Knowledge / expertise of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL) such as MySQL/LiteSQL and/or MangoDB

● Knowledge / practice of agile or waterfall development cycles
